Camp Anglewood Videos

Six members of the Temple Men's Basketball Team visited Camp Anglewood on Friday July 19th. The campers in the Upper Camp were treated to an introduction by each player followed by a couple of simple basketball drills. The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the knockout games where some of Anglewood's finest were able to best the Temple stars of the hardcourt. Camp Anglewood would like to thank players Will Cummings, Jimmy McDonnell, Dalton Pepper, Quenton DeCosey, Davontae Watson, Daniel Dingle, and Graduate Assistant Peter Lappas for such an entertaining time. On Wednesday June 26th, Camp Anglewood welcomed Chris Albright, who is playing his 15th Major League Soccer season as a defender with the Philadelphia Union. He is a Philly native who played soccer at Penn Charter. He has played 22 games for Team USA and been part of three MLS Cup winning teams (D.C. United in 1999 and the L.A. Galaxy in 2002 and 2005). He was named to the MLS Best XI team in 2005. He provided short seminars and some soccer guidance & stories for our Anglewood campers. After a few words of wisdom from his career experience, Chris showed Anglewood Campers some of his moves on the upper field. Check out the video! Then he guided them in one-on-one instructions before participating in some impromptu games. Anglewood thanks Chris Albright and the Philadelphia Union for spending some quality time with Anglewood's future soccer plalyers!
